HPC 2014 update - August Commitment Complete
My August commitment is complete. The armour on the Daemon Prince will be that armour colour palette I use for my Horus Heresy Emperor's Children. I think it turned out pretty good.

Daemons vs Grey Knight & Eldar - 1500pts
Saturday I played AngelicZ from The Warmaster forum. I'd like to thank him for travelling up from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to play. It was his first game of 7th Edition and his first game in 6 months, it was my 2nd game of 7th Edition and my 5th game with my Daemons.
I'm really getting a handle on my Daemons now, I know their strengths and weaknesses, and really enjoy the play style of fast moving Slaanesh Daemons. Rending and large amount of AP2 I have at my disposal is really devastating vs Power Armour. So without further ado, the Battle Report.

HPC 2014 Update - Seekers and Soul Grinder
My June pledge was for 10 Seekers of Slaanesh. You may have seen in previous posts that the Seekers are done, but the riders were still to be completed.
Well I have been side tracked, but I made some progress. Below are 7 Riders, that I have just finished their first highlight of Warpfiend Grey, Slaanesh Grey highlight to come. Hopefully they will be done by the end of the week.
As the title suggests, I have actually completed my Soul Grinder! This was July's pledge... oops! It was just a lot more interesting to paint than the riders :) See after the break for pictures.

Daemons vs Space Wolves 1500 pts
On Saturday I headed to the Queensland Gamers Guild meet at Enoggera Bowls Club, Brisbane. Atomic from the Independent Characters forum invited me to the club, and this was my first visit. They had a Bolt Action and Flames of War tournament going on, so it was very busy.
This was to be my first 7th Edition game, against an opponent who hadn't played 7th yet either. So a good learning experience for us both.

I should be working on my Seeker riders, however my Soul Grinder is also on my painting table and it looks way more interested than Seekers.

HPC 2014 Update - Seeker and Soul Grinder Progress
I have now completed all the Seekers, 20 in total. 15 as Seekers and one as a Herald for the Independent Characters Hobby Progress Challenge 2014, and another 4 as spare.
